Do my clients pay for access?
No. Clients and client users are free, unlimited, forever. We think charging an agency extra so its own clients can see the work is backwards, and it is exactly what per-seat time trackers do.
What exactly do my clients see?
Their own portal: the tasks they have delegated, chat with their assistant, daily end-of-day summaries, tracked hours shown in their timezone, and their invoices and billing. You control what each client can do with per-client permissions.
Can we switch from Hubstaff or Time Doctor?
Yes. Migration is free and we do the heavy lifting: your roster, clients, and rates come over, your assistants install the Marlow tracker, and most agencies are fully switched within a day.
How does client billing work?
You send a contract and the client signs and pays in one flow. The signature activates recurring billing on Stripe, monthly or annual, with support for intro pricing and custom rates. Clients manage their own cards and invoices in a self-serve portal.
Does payroll work for overseas contractors?
Yes. Payroll runs biweekly from approved timesheets, supports hourly and fixed-salary contractors, generates payslips automatically, and exports batch payout files for Wise so you can pay the whole team in one upload.
How does tracking respect my assistants?
Tracking runs only while an assistant is clocked in, and pauses for lunch and breaks. Monitoring is part of the working agreement your assistants sign, so everyone knows exactly what is captured and when.
Is there a seat minimum or a contract?
